His son also took a second in his first puppy stakes. Spring 2009 - Hunter is doing great. He only needs a win in the open stakes to make him a open champion in the USA. He already is amateur field champion. He had three second places this spring. He is qualified for the open & amateur national championship this fall. I have a son of Hunters who just turned 11 months old and he is doing great out of a field champion bitch.

She is definitely 'leader of the pack' as you can see from the photo! (note the superior look). I was amazed how quickly she bonded to me & how biddable she is, in fact her heel work is a bit too close sometimes I have to watch she doesn't trip me up! Must be the good training! (by the way I never did come back for my free lesson so you must have done a good job) She has really taken to water lately & can now hold her own against the Labs. She really is a joy to own & we are best mates.

Sax is completely ballistic and we think he could give a greyhound a run for it's money. He is ultra smart and headstrong, which is often a bad combination as he tends to disappear if he catches wind of something, no amount of whistles, treats or name calling will have him come back, not until he's ready. So there you stand, like a loner in a field with a lead and no dog! We couldn't be happier with all our dogs from Tawnyhill, and look forward to another very soon.
